Nikon NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 Overview
Find the shots that are uniquely yours. When your lens is this fast and versatile, you’re always ready to respond to what’s around you. Street scenes to landscapes to portraits—compose freely with the compact NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8.
Up your creative game
Go for artful brilliance with the lightweight zoom lens that delivers beautiful bokeh. Explore the creative potential of a shallow depth of field, or of using faster shutter speeds in natural light. You can experiment with a range of classic focal lengths, and the constant f/2.8 aperture maintains consistent exposure across the zoom range.
Artful bokeh
The large Z mount and wide f/2.8 rounded 9-blade aperture let you put your subject in sharp focus against incredibly soft, natural-looking bokeh. Create images with dramatic selective focus or take your portraiture to the next level.
Always the right light
With its fast maximum aperture, this lens performs brilliantly in available light. Capture clear, sharp shots in dimly lit situations, or use faster shutter speeds to freeze motion without sacrificing brightness.
Try something new
The wide to telephoto zoom range is perfect for exploring framing. Fit in more of the scene at 28 mm. Nail compelling portraits at 75 mm. Or go for dramatic perspectives—try moving closer and filling the frame from high and low angles.
Get up close
The NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 rewards you for getting in close. A minimum focus distance of just 0.19 m at 28 mm lets you create close-ups with dramatic wide-angle perspectives. If you’re shooting at 75 mm, you can make the most of the 0.39 m minimum focus distance to isolate subject detail. Bokeh is accentuated at closer distances for stunning results.
Fast, confident focus
Focusing is smooth, silent, and tack-sharp—even when shooting at close range. The fast autofocus system performs in perfect sync with your Nikon Z camera’s Eye-Detection AF to keep the focus right where you want it when shooting portraits.
Video savvy
Add great-looking video to your creative palette! Focus breathing is suppressed so you can smoothly shift focus while maintaining framing. Smooth aperture control lets you capture beautifully natural-looking shifts in brightness.
