Canon EOS M6 II (Black) Overview
The Canon EOS M6 Mark II camera blends high-quality optics into a compact, mirrorless camera that’s perfect for your everyday photography adventures. Boasting an enhanced 32.5 Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor with the DIGIC 8 Image Processor and ISO range of 100-25600 (expandable to 51200), the EOS M6 Mark II makes it easy to capture sharp, inspiring images and videos – including beautifully rendered, uncropped 4K 30p videos – wherever or whenever the moment strikes.
Fast Locking and Fast Tracking Autofocus
Dual Pixel CMOS AF with phase-detection analyzes the difference between multiple wavelengths of light to determine almost instantly where to focus the lens, while providing strong detail. Advanced AF Tracking, thanks to the DIGIC 8 Image Processor, helps keep your subject in focus when it’s on the move. Touch AF is intuitive and easy to use, which lets you simply touch the LCD monitor to focus in on your subject, even when tilting the LCD to shoot from various angles. In addition to capturing the vibrant colors of the world, the EOS M6 Mark II camera features 32.5 million pixels.
Ease of Use
The EOS M6 Mark II is equipped with multiple custom dials, well-designed menus and a 3.0-inch tilt-type LCD touch screen. There are five function dials ergonomically placed so you can adjust settings quickly and easily. The Mode Dial lets you switch between picture modes, while the Exposure Compensation Dial lets you adjust the brightness of your image. The Quick Control and Main Dials are fully customizable to suit you, and the Controller Wheel on the back of the camera makes scrolling easy.
Touch and Drag AF with Optional EVF
The EOS M6 Mark II camera features Touch and Drag AF with an optional external viewfinder*, making it easy to select a focus point quickly for enhanced usability. Simply use the touch screen LCD screen to point to the desired area of focus. The chosen AF point is then displayed in the camera’s EVF for quick confirmation.
High-Speed Continuous Shooting
Never miss a moment of instant action with the EOS M6 Mark II’s new High-Speed Continuous (H+) shooting mode. You can shoot up to 14fps (with AF/AE Tracking) to capture every second for a great action shot. The DIGIC 8 Image Processor helps the EOS M6 Mark II stay locked on the subject while the action happens — the camera also features a powerful electronic shutter system with speeds from 1/16000 and a mechanical/electronic 1st-curtain shutter with a maximum of 1/4000 per second.
4K UHD 30p / Full HD 120p Video
With the help of the DIGIC 8 Image Processor, and the 32.5 Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor, you can record uncropped 4K movies at a frame rate of up to 30p for high definition, cinematic results. Recording at almost four times the resolution of Full HD, you can see your subject in stunning clarity. Ideal for smooth, slow-motion playback videos, Full HD movies can also be recorded at a high-frame rate of approximately 120 frames per second. Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Face Tracking and Eye Detection can also be used when recording 4K videos.
